Garnishment Process - The following three forms must be completed and mailed to the Court along with a certified copy of the foreign judgment. Please mail the original, two copies, and a self-addressed, postage paid envelope to the Court. The following costs apply to a garnishment request: $15.00 to register the foreign judgement and $6.00 to serve the respondent by certified mail. The filing fee is $50.00 if the garnishment is less than $5,000 and $75 if the garnishment is greater than $5,000. The entire amount should be made payable to LCO Tribal Court. If you prefer to have them personally served and the respondent resides on the reservation, you can have the LCO Police Department personally serve them for $25.00 instead of the certified mail. This must be a separate check made payable to the LCO Police Department for $25.00.
